Intel Audio Port

Intel Audio Port was designed to bring music back into the livingroom, at the height of  the MP3  revolution. The project was aimed to leverage Intel's strong technology, while moving the brand into the consumer market with user centric product offering.
Limited to the available devices at the time, users were confined to listen to their new digital media in their office on the PCs. Intel Audio Port created the freedom to take the experience into more comfortable areas of their homes.
Intel Audio Port is a system of the remote and the adapter. The adapter bridges the gap between the PCs and the audio system for output, and the remote creates the accessiblity for the users.

Designed to be used by multiple users in the family environment, the remote offer hardware buttons that can be personalized. John can listen to his own playlist, as easily as Carla can buy a song from Amazon with a click of a button from her own account.

The compact size of the adapter allows installation flexibility for the users. Dual orientation further creates opportunities to fit the device into many rooms around the house. The device can be connected with either ethernet cable, or wireless to the host machine.
